As awful as Plan 9 from Outer Space is, this awful film can&#39;t dethrone it. The actors here aren&#39;t animated enough to be laughable, and the endless technical errors don&#39;t stand up and wave or wobble at you. You wouldn&#39;t notice unless you actually think about it.<br/><br/>I just loved the fighters that reached the fight with the first monster so quickly that they must have broken Mach 10. And gee, flown by pilots who don&#39;t use any normal terminology, don&#39;t know what weapons are on the plane (a .50 cal on a fighter?!?), and the weapons they do find don&#39;t work that way.<br/><br/>Oh, and as a former aircraft carrier crewman, I was especially interest in the various battle groups. Things sure have changed. Back in 1980. a carrier in a big hurry could get a bit over 30 knots. All the ships anybody sent for in the first crisis, however, were on station in seconds. Has the Navy adopted magic ships? <br/><br/>I won&#39;t go on because I can&#39;t. I got a headache from pounding my head on the desk. The plot is terrible.<br/><br/>The acting is terrible.<br/><br/>The scene cuts are terrible.<br/><br/>The special FX are mediocre, at best.<br/><br/>It&#39;s actually really funny to watch this movie in it&#39;s glorious entirety... I&#39;d love to be on the MST3K bench reviewing this one.
